Panel Meters
Carlo Gavazzi offers a comprehensive range of digital panel meters for the OEM, Panel Builder, Instrumentation, and MRO customer. Covering most input types (current voltage / temperature resistance / RPM), our panel meters are well suited for your display requirements. Our EDM35 series of panel meters has a modular construction. The user selects the modules they require (supply voltage, relay outputs, analogue outputs) and then all module simply plug into the back of the meter. The EDM35 has a choice of display colour as well.

Energy Meters
The control of the loads and of the main electrical lines by means of the measurement of complex variables such as power and energy together with the control of the quality of the power supply is becoming more and more important.
The three-phase balanced and unbalanced systems in the light, medium, heavy industries and in the services sectors can now be easily monitored using these transducers and flush mounting meters. We offer meters and transducers for monitoring energy ( kwh, kwar), current, voltage, power (kw, kva), frequency, harmonics, power factor to name just a few.

Temperature Controls
Carlo Gavazzi feature a comprehensive line of single loop controllers for use in temperature control on plastics and packaging machinery, food processing, semiconductor manufacturing, and for scientific and medical equipment (sterilizers, etc).
All models feature PID auto-tuning and many also feature self-tuning - which continuously monitors the process and adjusts the control parameters to suit the conditions.

1/32, 1/16, and 1/8 single loop controllers.
User programmable inputs.
Various control outputs (analogue and digital).
Available with RS485 communication for remote monitoring via a PC or PLC.
Some models feature a programmable ramp/soak function (up to 4 segments).
Software is available for controller setup and for process monitoring.

Counters
The CG48 is a 6 digit multifunction counter suited for a wide variety of applications. The CG48 features a programmable pre-scale function which allows a readout in engineering units (flow rate, kwh, etc). As well, there is a programmable output (relay and transistor) which is useful in batch counting applications.
The CG48 features programmable counting speed and can accept an input from a proximity sensor, contact, or encoder.

Programmable Logic Controllers
Carlo Gavazzi is your source for LG PLC's. These modern, high performance controllers are particularly suited for machinery manufacturers, panel builders, and other OEM applications where high performance to cost ratio is of primary importance.
Also available are a range of operator interfaces and touch screens (HMI). These screens allow the user to display or change the values of internal timers, counters, and registers .

Available with up to 60 I/O (80 I/O with expansion modules).
Available with DC inputs and relay or transistor outputs.
12/24 VDC power supply types available.
High speed counter input.
Up to 8 pulse-catch inputs for capturing short duration input signals.
Up to 3 expansion modules can be added for digital or analogue I/O. Also available is an expansion module with user adjustable potentiometers for adjustment of timer values.
Operator interfaces are available. User input is via a numeric keypad, programmable function keys, or user defined touch areas on the screen.
All manuals and programming software are supplied free of charge on a CD ROM.

Dupline
Dupline® - the versatile bus for Industrial Applications and Building Automation. Dupline is used for transferring analogue and digital information over distances up to 10 km. It can be used stand-alone or as part of a PLC based control system. There are no special protocols to learn - all modules are simply and quickly configured with a small hand-held device.
Dupline is used extensively in mining (ventilation, lighting, and conveyor control), elevators (for signal transmission), irrigation systems, water treatment facilities (signal monitoring, control), facility alarm systems, and in building automation (temperature and lighting control, security).
