This controller varies the proportion (length) of time the heater is in the "on" or "off" heating mode.  the heating application will deteremine the actual percentage setpoint required.  The controller does not use a temperature sensor and therefore satisfactory operation requires occasional supervision under changing load conditions.

The Thermocouple Controller is designed for indoor, general purpose use, to control the temperature of small tanks, drums, pipes, or other applicatins requiring automatic control.  The low temperature range of the controller makes it ideal for use with plastic drums, tanks, or pipes.
 
This controller has an oil filled bulb and capillary and is used where weatherproof enclosures are necessary.  It is designed to maintain the required temperatures in heat tracing systems, freeze protection systems, process systems, and moisture protection systems.

The Hazardous Area Bulb and Capillary controllers are oil filled bulb and capillary temperature controllers used for controlling individual circuits in environments requiring explosion enclosures.  These controllers are designed to maintain the required temperature in heat tracing, freeze protectin and process maintenance applications
