Level Controls

Carlo Gavazzi comprehensive range of level detection products is well suited to solve most level control applications. Our range is able to detect conductive and non-conductive liquids, granulates, grains, powders, and plastics.

Typical applications are for level control in wells and municipal water systems, protection of pumps, levels in grain elevators and feed conveyors, level detection of plastics pellets in vacuum delivery systems in the plastics industry, detection of level of powders and liquids in packaging machines to name just a few. Our range of level control products include capacitive level sensors, conductive level probes, ultrasonic sensors, optical probes. For less demanding applications, we also offer low cost mechanical types.

Our Range of Level Control and Monitoring Products Comprises:

• Conductive Probe Assemblies and Amplifiers for monitoring and level control in conductive liquids. We offer up to 4 electrodes in each housing. We also offer both insulated and non-insulated electrodes.Our amplifiers can control filling and emptying operations.
• Optical Sensors for level sensing and control of level in conductive and non-conductive liquids. Various housing materials are available allowing use in aggressive cleaning agents.
• Capacitive Sensors with and without remote amplifiers for monitoring and control of level in  dry goods (feeds, grains, plastic pellets). Special versions for use in the semiconductor industry and in applications where aggressive chemical agents are used.
• Mechanical switches for low cost monitoring and control in OEM applications (water conditioners and small storage tanks)
• Ultrasonic sensors for monitoring of level with either a digital output or an analogue output.
