Self-Regulating Heat Cable
![]() |
Benefits: • Can be cut to length at job site • Can be safely overlapped • Simple installation • Eliminates the need for a control unit * • Meets NEC 427-23 • IEEE Std 515 RU * If a specific process temperature is required a control unit is necessary. |
Features: • Moisture and Chemical Resistant • Parallel resistance heater with irradiated self-regulating core • Self-Regulation core prevents overheating • Parallel circuit • Low watt density • Power output varies with temperature • Conductive polymer core • Tinned copper or stainless steel overbraid • Continuous exposure temperatures of 150° F or 250° F |
Options: • Fluoropolymer outer jacket - recommended when exposure to organic chemicals or corrosives is expected. • Thermoplastic elastomer outer jacket - recommended for mechanical protection in corrosive applications. Applications: • Freeze protection • Viscosity Control • Low temperature process maintenance |
